Kentucky Pecan Pie

Ingredients:
1/2 cup chopped pecans
3 tablespoons Bourbon
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
3/4 cup Mrs. Butterworth's syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 unbaked pie shell
Directions:
SOAK pecans in Bourbon. Set aside. In mixing bowl, BEAT butter, sugar and eggs until fluffy. BLEND in syrup, salt and vanilla. ADD chocolate chips. POUR filling into pie crust. SPRINKLE with pecans. BAKE in 375o F oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
